OMG Nail Polish

I can't wait to share with you what I have on my nails today.
I felt the impulsiveness flowing in my blood veins since last night when I purchased these OMG Nail Polishes. And you know what?? I tried them all ha ha ha. I was surprised with the result. Despite of being inexpensive it did a very good job on my fingernails, the first coat achieved my desired opacity and take note they dried quickly.
OMG Nail Colors are by Klik, which is a local brand here in the Philippines. They come in an array of shades and finishes. That is my target when I get the chance to go downtown again buying more, ha ha ha (power shopping!!!).

Here are  some  OMG Crystal Sand Collections:

Emerald

Citrine

Hematite

Each Bottle contains 10ml at Php 20.00. In some shops they sell them
for only Php 18.00

Maybe others are curious why it is inexpensive? I suspect it is because manufactured here in the Philippines.
OMG Nail Polishes claims to be Toluene and DBP free. I observed
that the formula is very fluid, and I can say the polish goes on like it is indeed a Toluene and DBP free.
Check out for more information about these chemicals Toluene and DBP .

Dot to Dot

This is my first time using red nail polish, and I like the outcome. Actually, I wanted to have a heart design, but I changed my mind. There are 5 simple designs here:

1. On my thumb it is red with white dots. It is so easy, I didn't use any tools here except for a toothpick.
2. Is my Index finger, I call it minnie tiny black eyes. As you can see it is Red my base color and white tip with black dots.
3. Index finger, dotting the line? Or crossing the line? Whichever, anyway, Yes, the white dots are centered on line between black and red.
4. Ring Finger, this is the one that I like so much, white petals. It is so easy and simple, just make five dots for the petals and one silver dot in the middle of petals for the bud.
5. Pinky Finger, well, this was the simplest, only black and red.
These designs would match if you're going on a Valentine's Date this coming 14th of February.

See you on my next post.

Tips How to Take Good Care of your Nails

Everyone wants to have good looking and strong finger nails, especially the ladies out there. However, there are many women that have problems with their nails.
Here are some tips from me and ms Sara  of SaraBeautyCorner my favorite nail art Guru.

Personally, I am recommending wearing gloves in washing dishes.  Commercial dishwashing liquids have chemicals that are harmful to our skin and sometimes can cause skin cancer. Even if you are gardening gloves help protect our nails from breaking and reduce dryness.
Olive oil, I also believe is the best moisturizer. Just use a few drops onto the cuticles and around the nails then massage. Do it regularly, everyday or 3 to 4 times it is up to you, but for my hands and fingers I do it twice a day. This will keep your fingers and nails healthy and shiny.

But of course, do not forget that eating healthy foods is also the main factor of having a healthy body.

Here are more tips from SaraBeautyCorner:

I hope  these tips will help to attain the best good looking fingernails that you are longing for.

Nail Art using Cotton Ball

I don't particularly like wearing black nail polish except my nail art today requires having black, so, here I am wearing black nail polish. Not just a plain black, but black accented with white to leave the appearance of real snowflakes. After creating these glossy bright nails I am sure cotton balls can be used as tools for nail art. Before, I always wanted to have new nail art tools, every time I go downtown I never missed visiting the beauty shops to find out if there are new nail art tools in the market. Now, I think I better look around the house to explore things available that I can use as nail art tools.
What I did here first was the base coat, then the Bobbie Black nail polish. Next, get a piece of cotton ball, drop a small amount of white nail polish (SinfulColors Professional) onto a piece of paper
and  dab the polish first with the cotton ball and then gently touch nails creating your design.

Simple and easy!

Look around you, maybe there are items in your collections that you can use for your nail art.

See you on my next post.
Thank you for dropping by.

Nail Art using Finger Tips

What a busy week! My nails have been in need of some pampering!
Ladies, this design doesn't need any nail art tools or expensive nail polishes, it is easy and quick. You can use any colors available in your Nail Art Box. Just your fingertips and you'll have an amazing design like what I have accomplished.
I am going to share what I have learned from one of my favorite nail art expert SarabeautyCorner.

I used different brands of nail polishes here.
SinfulColors Professional, Bobbie, Caronia for nail hardener and base coat and  Le Belle for the top coat.

Just drop the small amount of nail polish onto a piece of paper, using your finger tips touch the drops and gently rub it on your nails, until you are satisfied with the design.

See, it's so easy.

Here are some more tutorials from Sara.
With her permission I am going to share the video.

I hope this would help you to get an idea what would be your design. Any suggestions and honest comments are very much welcome.
Thank You

SINFUL COLORS PROFESSIONAL

Sinful Colors Professional is  Fun Colors!

Available at Walmart, Walgreen and Amazon.com
$ 1.99 (regular price)
15 ml (0.5 fl oz)

" Inexpensive, but good quality" that is Sinful Colors Professional."
It seems like they are very professional in the packaging. At first I wasn't sure about the quality of this product. Actually, it was my husband who bought this from Walmart and like me he is also fond of  "SALE" he got these for only $0.99 each bottle.
Husband knows that I like nail polishes and I always look for a price that won't hurt my wallet. After trying " Cream Pink 152" and "Frenzy 922" (glitters in purple), I would say Sinful Colors Professional really proves that they are Professional. They can compete with any other expensive nail polishes out there in my opinion. They are incredibly worth the price, on sale or not.

Neon pink  (Cream Pink 152)
Here with lights on

Cream Pink 152 when the lights off
Purple Glitters (Frenzy 922)

Pros: Opaque, quick dry, pretty colors, affordable, many colors to choose from, available at any Leading Department Stores like Walmart and Walgreen.
Glitters (Frenzy 922) are  very fine and not difficult to remove. I remember months ago I have used glitters  just for a try, but it took me awhile before I removed.

Cons: The brush is so thick I can’t use it for nail art. My suggestion is to be careful in using because the brush picks a lot. Be sure to wipe off the excess.

Nails and Nail Arts

Green Floral Nail Sticker

This is only a simple design that anyone can do.
A persian green nail polish from the sister of my friend who is living in Australia.
I like green colors, aside from this is the color of nature, it also symbolizes life, master healer and of course MONEY.
By the way, let us back to nail polish, this is a double coat, because  I want to reach the real color of Persian green. I like it. It turned out "greeny"!
I added the flower decals after 2 hours enjoying the nail polish.

Dot Penguin Nails

Jolly and bright penguin nails.

Different  colors of Bobbie and Chic nail polish combined
together and with the help of dotting tools.
Nail art came up with a good and positive look.
I like different colors of nail polish, but I can't do that everyday. Since I am a full time online staff of Mobileworks   https://www.mobileworks.com/ I can only do this after work or during my rest day.

My Little Buddy "Wooden Dotting Tool"
A present from my eldest son's  fiancée. This can be purchased at most any cosmetics supply or beauty shops.

Pink Glitters Radiant Nails

Time to reward those tired fingernails, that had been ticking the keyboard almost 8 hours a day.
I started off polishing with a base sheer peach color, this will help if you have nail  discoloration  or bruises. I chose micro fine pink glitters of China Glaze nail polish
collections. I am not contented with the result it looks normal and very common, I added some flower decals, see it is more pretty!

Tuesday Challenge

Last Tuesday  was a boring day  for me and I was stuck with nothing to do but stare at my toes.

Hmmm… a thought came to my mind. Let’s make boring Tuesday into a fun "toesday"!

I grabbed my Nail Art kit and dig into what I have available.

I am not a nail expert but I am very persuasive to learn and I have a wide imagination for creativity.

So, I used Bobbie black nail polish for the base then I picked out the snowflake nail decals

to lighten up the design then for final coating I used Bobbie natural nail polish to give it a shinier look.

Color Me Green

Don't be shy!
The right shade of green can make all
the difference!!

Shades of brilliant Islamic green, accented with grainy vanilla and midnight black. I am imagining the underwater world and the graceful octopus releasing its black ink into a bed of neon green seaweed to obscure the vision of any attackers, and here comes the sunshine beams giving the light to show off the plants neon colors and to nurture the underwater world.

See you in my next post!

POLISH ME

Simple Polka Dots to welcome New Year

Some Filipinos believe that wearing polka dots is a lucky charm, It symbolizes money,
and a lot more money. Since I am not going to wear polka dot clothes, it makes me look all spotted, he he.  I decided to apply colorful dots here to welcome January 2013.
I do hope I dotted enough because I do like money.

Island of Paradise

Shade it with different colors, imagining the Paradise of Philippine Islands.
This is a good design and very colorful. It attracts a lot of attention and sometimes even gives a reason to start a conversation. It is just fun to wear.
I hope you like them folks!
